BIO:      Almira Rahmati is an accomplished film technician based in Toronto, she specializes in costume and props. She is a Performance Production graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University, a Theatre Production graduate of Humber College, and she also holds a Certificate in Design for Arts and Entertainment (Toronto Metropolitan University/Chang School. Almira is currently a member of NABET-700 in both Costume and Props. Her film set experiences include on set key, 1st and 2nd assistant, and set swing. Besides her experience in film she also has worked in theatre shows as head of props and assistant to the costume designer. Her eagerness for both departments has enabled her to learn the necessary skills to be flexible and to work in different positions in each department. She is able to work on any task given to her by using her skills of sewing, painting, building and using any material to accomplish the designer's vision. She is very organized and is able to create detailed paperwork to communicate her thinking process.
